If you fancy your chances at becoming one of Hate Fashion's Icons of the Future, then send us your details. We're holding casting sessions in January 2010 so get prepared. Hair and make-up will be on standby by so all you need to do is your nails and teeth. We'll need a head shot so don't forget to send one. Any other snaps are a bonus.	We'll keep you up to date with all the Hate Fashion goings on and make sure you know exactly what's happening when. We're also on the look out for any designers who think they have the Hate it takes to make it in the fashion world. Are you an Ugly Betty, a Wilhelmena Slater, a Mark St James, a Daniel Meade or an Amanda Tanen? We like 'em all! As long as they're thin!

I remember saying this when I was a child at George Eliot High school in Nuneaton – that's where I grew up. Then my teacher, a man by the name of Phil Evans (since butchered to death along with his wife and small child in Rhodesia), overheard me and said "If you don't like something, Andrew. Then make sure you do something about it and change it." Not long after that conversation I turned to Punk. Rest in peace, Mr. E.

I'd forgotten all about what Mr Evans had said until I was watching TV and that whistling Honda advert came on. "Hate something, change something." it sang. And so that's what I am doing now.

It was those words which inspired me to form Hate Fashion clothing range. I was/am sick and tired of seeing people ruin decent clothes by squashing them from the inside out to ridiculous proportions. That's why my range only goes up to a size 12 in the female range and a 32" waist for males. Yep, I've been told "Andy, that'll never work" on so many occasions I could die rich if I had a pound for every time I've heard it.

I don't care. What is more important to me, is that I have a clothing range I'd be proud to wear myself and those who like it can do so safe in the knowledge that some elephant won't walk round the corner wearing the same thing and trashing the name.

If you Hate it, wear it.

Hate Fashion is a Manchester clothing label dealing with the cutting edge of skinny couture. We bring you the latest creations from trendy up-and-coming designers based in the North West. If you'd like some of your designs looked at by our experts or you feel you may have something to offer and think Hate may be the right vehicle for you, then give us a shout and we can talk.

We're currently recruiting for our latest fashion shoot, which will be going ahead in JUNE so get your details to us pronto, Tonto. We need at least ten male and three females for the shoot, which will take place in the centre of Manchester VERY SOON so please, if you are interested, get your ass into town. More details to be posted soon so keep and eye open and make sure you're there.
